GUS!
since Gus pretty much rules my life, is the center of my life and he named my blog!.. although I am not sure he sees the preverse humour in the title, lol... I thought I should make my very first attempt at a blog about him! Gus is 8 and in grade 3. He is, hands down, the funniest person I have ever met! And I am lucky enough to be his mom! (And obviously, as you can see by his picture, he is one handsome little devil!)
I have some classic GUSisms from over the years that I would love to share...
"Mommy, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is something I should get" seriously, should that sentence begin with Mommy!?
About to watch Real Steal .. "Mom, prepare to have your eyes awesomated!"
"Do you know why whales are dangerous? Because you can get stuck in their bellies." Good to know where the danger lies.
"Mom, I saw my butt in the mirror... it IS cute! it looks a lot like my head"
On why he never fell off his new skateboard "it was probably my good looks... gravity didn't want to take me down"
"Mostly everything is made in China... So everyone has a little Chinese in them"
Gus slipped $1 of the $3 he got from the toothfairy under my pillow before I "woke up". He wanted me to wake up as happy as he was.
Gus has informed me his butt is classified... "so can everyone stop looking at it?"
Gus informed me that he is the only kid in his school with spider sense... well at least the only kid who knows how to use it.
And a classic one liner, we should all remember in times of trouble....
"Your so ugly, the only dates you get are on a calendar"
Gus had planned on using this on his bully at school, but the teacher had a talk with them that day and encouraged them to be friends... what the heck!? A great line now has to lay in waiting in his 8 year old mind!
My life is pretty awesome. I get to spend it with the most awesome kid around.
smart, handsome, and funny....he must take after his mommy's sister's fiance's brother :)
ReplyDeleteObviously... I heard those traits are handed down in exactly that manner!
DeleteI totally agree I hear those traits are genetically programmed and passed from one generation to the next (may have missed my generation) I love the positiveness
